Ink Blot No. 6

A branching design was blotted onto an 8” by 12” sheet of tan paper. That sheet was pressed to an identical sheet, the second sheet was pressed to a third, and the third to a fourth. The four impressions were arranged as reflections to each of their neighbors creating a central prismatic composition. Each blot of ink was outlined 13 times with each layer thinner than the last. Outlines from separate blots were allowed to overlap only if they were from the same layer.
