Optical Drawings
This series of (mostly) black and white ink paintings were derived from Paull’s black and white pottery and sculpture work. The flat, uninterrupted surface of the paper allows her to explore the rules of her complex patterning. This work has gone on to influence the ceramic work which originally inspired it.
